Perfect for those who have completed Hiragana, Katakana, and basic sentence patterns in Beginner 1.
Objective
In this course, students will expand their basic Japanese skills and learn how to express daily activities, preferences, requests, and family relationships more naturally.
Building on the foundation from Beginner 1, this level introduces past tense verbs, adjectives, the te-form, and essential grammar for describing actions and routines.
You will learn how to:
Talk about past events and daily routines using different verb forms
Describe where things and people are located
Express likes, dislikes, and abilities using adjectives
Make polite requests and explain reasons using the te-form and kara
Describe ongoing actions and habits with 〜ています
Talk about your family and exchange gifts using あげます and もらいます
By the end of this course, you will be able to hold simple conversations about your daily life, express opinions and preferences, and understand basic interactions in Japanese.

Students who wish to build a stronger grammar foundation before moving to Beginner 3.

Enrollment will close once the maximum number of participants is reached.
If the minimum number of participants is not met, the course will not be held.
Participation in Beginner 2 and Beginner 3 is strongly recommended only after completing the previous level.
Joining a course mid-term is possible if there are available spots; however, students are expected to study the units already covered on their own.
Cancellations after the course has started will not be accepted.
